The Circus Freak

While attending my second semester at FIT in my fashion design art studio class we were tasked with a project that had us pick one popular house couture brand and create a collection. Something that felt true to the brand identity but also showcased your own distinct ideas and processes. I chose Schiaparelli- being highly inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli's story and to accompany the brand I decided my collection should follow a circus theme. I wanted to bring in a way to show my aptitude for bold patterns and colors while staying true to the brand.
